Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Arrival Hanoi our guide and driver will pick you up at airport and transfer to hotel, free at leisure, overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B, L)

Today, we have full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city. You will visit the house on – stilts of Ho Chi Minh

(this is where our uncle Ho spent the rest of his life ) and the One Pillar Pagoda ( it was constructed in 1049) and the Litterature Temple ( a habitual symbol of Hanoi ), the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, pay a visit to the Hoan Kiem Lake with its Ngoc Son temple. Continue to visit the Old Quarter of Hanoi by cyclo.  Enjoy a kind of traditional Vietnamese stage-art: a Water Puppet Show in the evening, overnight at hotel in Hanoi.


Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau – homestay (B, L, D)

7:30-8:00: Pick up at hotel then transfer to Mai Chau – Hoa Binh Province
10:00 – Short break
11:30-12:00: Arrival Mai Chau Valley, you have time to take beautiful photos.

12:15 – Traditional lunch in local village
13:00-15:00 – Bicycle ride with local tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and  visit surrounding  peaceful villages.
15:00-18:00: Walking, shopping
18:00 – Visit Thai living museum for Traditional dinner
19:30 – Watch Thai traditional dance in the stilt house
Enjoy Tradidional alcohol (ruou can) with the community


Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

7:30-8:00 – Wakeup and eat breakfast
8:30-11:30 – Hike to 1000 Step Cave and visit local market where local people by food, clothes and other products.
12:15 – 15:00 – Lunch and free time to relax before getting on the van to Hanoi
18:30-19:00 – Drop you off at your hotel

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong (B, L, D)

Your guide with your driver will come to pick you up at your hotel about 8.00 am and take you to Halong bay. Enjoy the journey through the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and daily village life of the Red River Delta. Arrive in Halong we will embark on the boat for a cruising amongst the stunning Halong bay. We visit the cave and explore countless ilsands rising out from the emerald water. We visit the beach and have opportunity to swim, diner and overnight on the junk boat.


Day 6: Halong – Hanoi (B)

7h00:     Have tea – breakfast.

8h00:     Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, and then cruise to pass so that tourists can have a look Man’s head island, Tortoise Island from the Junks.

9h00: Arrange luggage and check-out.

9h30: Set brunch (breakfast and lunch).

11h00: Arrival Halong wharf. Transfer to Hanoi arounf 16:00 pm.  You are free at leisure, overnight at hotel in Hanoi


Day 7: Hanoi – Luangprabang (B)

Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight to Luanprabang. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 8: Luangprabang – Pak Ou Cave (B)

After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panaromic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. On our way back, we pass the local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan continue to see the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which once belongs to royal family patronage and near by Sackarine Caves. We cross to city and take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 9: Luangprabang – Khuangsi waterfall (B)

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. From there you will visit the morning Phosi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turqoise pools or walk along the forest trails. After returning to Luang Prabang by late afternoon, we continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for its silk weavings and for its Saa (jute) Papermaking. We return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang


Day 10: Luangprabang – Sofe Adventure (Elephant + Rafting) (B, L)

This is a full day trip combining a rafting tour out of town with some sightseeing and an exciting elephant ride to/from Tad Sae Waterfall (or alternative route in dry season). After pick up from your Hotel (8:30-9:00 a.m) we proceed to the Adventure and Elephant camp located 15 km out of town in the middle of unspoiled, natural green surroundings. After crossing the small river you are introduced to our Asian Elephants and venture on a 1hr – 1hr 30 mins enchanting journey through forests, plantations and fields. This activity programe provides you with a breathtaking and unique experience as you make your way through forests and along the Nam Khan River up to the waterfalls of Tad Sae. (In the dry season we ride a village trail) After visiting the waterfall, lunch is served before a relaxing 30 minute rafting tour along the river back to the resort. The evening is free at your leisure. Overnight at Lao Spirit Resort


Day 11: Luangprabang – Departure (B)

After breakfast, we transfer to back to Luang Prabang town. We visit The National Museum (close Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artefacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, Also the Central Market is not to be missed. After visiting these sites, we transfer you to the airport for departure.
